In planning my photography marketing calendar for this year, I designed a few business PDFs for organizing my schedule and maintaining consistency for posting. I love being able to view my entire blogging/Instagram schedule in one place! I thought many of you would find them helpful as well, so they are yours for FREE.
52 Week Blog Planning PDF + (52!) Post Ideas
• Do you ever sit at your computer attempting to write a blog post, and just stare at your screen blankly? I can help! I have compiled 52 ideas for blog posts, that go BEYOND the typical session + sneak peek blogs for your clients. We all know it is important for SEO (and your clients) to stay active on your blog and provide valuable info + tips. Put your spin on these ideas and show your potential clients why hiring you is the only way to go!
• I don’t know about you, but if it’s in writing, I am more apt to follow through. Jot down your blog topics for each week and hold yourself accountable!
• For a bonus, there is ample room at the top for your “themes”. For example, this year I want to share wall art/home decor ideas, organization tools + information posts, inspiring light + personal posts (snippets of my “everyday”, as well as personal photography projects). Put it in writing, and make it happen!
365 Day Instagram Planning PDF
• With over 400 million(!) users, Instagram is the place to be in 2016. I don’t know about you, but I am planning on picking up my game to post daily.
• Instagram is a visual feast for the eyes—make sure your feed is well-curated by filling in your “Visual Goals” as well as “Content Goals” for the year. They don’t have to be fancy, but consistency counts. If you are going to share photos of your kids or what you had for dinner, make it routine (every 5-10 posts) so they don’t look out of place with your awesome photography images.
• Unlike your blog or Facebook, there is no need for lots of text—let your photos speak for themselves! I use the planing PDF to make sure I am rotating my content. No one but my mom wants to see 3 photos in a row of my kids, and since she’s not even on Insta, I better make sure I showcase some inspiring photos to keep my followers coming back for more!
Download, print the PDFs out + start jotting down your ideas! Or open/edit it in Illustrator (as I do) and save it to your Dropbox so you can view them on-the-go. You may wish to refer to the post I wrote on the overview of my Photography Marketing Schedule for tips on how I use these documents to arrange my monthly calendar and stay super organized and focused!
Not starting until the year is half-over? No worries, it is never too late to start providing quality content to your audience!
