There is only one thing I could think of to do with this little guy for his six-year-old birthday photos….crab hunting! He is obsessed! Every time we are at the Cape he spends hours and hours and hours flipping over rocks and digging holes, searching for crabs (or minnows or frogs…). I wanted to sit back and catch him in his glory, so I only asked him to smile for me once. Although I am glad I captured his adorable toothless smile! I remember when he lost his first tooth right after his 5th birthday and it caught me off guard. It was too soon! I swear it was just yesterday when those teeth were coming in. Now he has lost five (sniff, sniff)! One of his other favorite hobbies these days is taking photos. I got him a camera for his birthday and he just loves it. He is very artistic and love being able to share that bond with him. I love doing these birthday sessions for my kids each year—being able to spend special time with them and capture them just as they at that age.
